ARE commissioned Jeff to compose these songs to aquaint religious school students with some basic Jewish ritual objects and practices. Jeff wrote the tunes; he and Susan Nanus collaborated on the lyrics. The album was recorded and mixed by Peter Bliss on his 4-track Tascam reel-to-reel recorder. Danny sang harmonies. The collection spawned several "hits": the Kippah and Bimah songs, and "Havdalah," now known as "Shavua Tov, May You Have a Good Week." The album was released on cassette and is now out-of-print.
